We Came, We Saw, We Conquered.  November 2nd. 2010
I am extremely humbled and honored to write this email.  Florida and Tea Party Patriots across America created a historic change of government that hasn’t happened since the 1930s!  For nearly 21 months YOU have loyally carried on the fight when all the pundits were saying Americans were Socialists!  Most of you sacrificed your time, money, resources and even your reputation without a complaint to WIN this battle. 

I remember clearly that the speech Rick Santelli gave on February 19th, 2009.   It was at that moment that I decided to hold a protest.   My thought was that perhaps I could get 20 or so of my friends to join me.   A week later, there were over 50 people across the country holding protests.   On April 15, nearly 1.2 million people came out to protest the bailouts in over 850 tea party protests across the country.

Many of you will recall that on the 2009, April 15th West Palm Beach Tea Party a little known former Florida House Leader named Marco Rubio gave the keynote speech.   At the time, Gov. Crist was the most popular governor and was polling over 60% in the US Senate Race.   Going across the state and talking to groups of 20 to a couple hundred, Rubio stood with the tea party when hardly anyone would.  As a result, Marco Rubio grew in popularity and defeated the tax and spend politicians.

Another great patriot that stood with the tea party from the beginning is Lt Colonel Allen West. West served his country in Army honorably for over 20 years only to come home to see his country under attack.  West could have taken the easy route and become a consultant making a lot of money.  However, Allen’s loyalty to his sacred oath to defend the Constitution from all enemies forced him to run for office as soon as his plane landed in Fort Lauderdale from Afghanistan.  West lost the election in 2008, but never gave up on fighting for We The People.  Do you remember the Oct. 4th 2009 speech he gave at our tea party rally at the “Revolution?”

This victory belongs to We The People.   It was not a result of people loving the GOP or anything else.  I want to thank everyone that made the calls, walked door to door, rallied with us, prayed for us, donated their time and money.   This battle was long and exhausting, but you came through.

Now is the time to rest.  Unplug the computers and phones.  Spend some time with your family and loved ones.   It is imperative that we regain our strength for the next battles.

I have been talking with several people trying to plan for what is next.  It appears that the Liberals in Congress are threatening to throw everything at us when they come back from break. There is also an argument that there will be a major fight around February when the national debt needs to be increased.   In either case, it will most likely be the most ugly battle seen.
